    Aaron Nichols is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Mr. Nichols has served as a financial advisor to wealthy and ultra-high-net-worth families, entrepreneurs, as well as corporations and nonprofit institutions for over two decades. His team’s experience and expertise center on financial planning, including cash flow modeling, and the practice of goals-based investment management to protect and grow wealth, enabling clients to fulfill the purpose they envision for their lives, families, and community. With a focus on risk management and tax optimization, Mr. Nichols constructs diversified multi-asset portfolios employing both the public markets and private investments. Mr. Nichols joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Mr. Nichols was a Wealth Manager at First Republic since 2012. Prior to joining First Republic, Mr. Nichols was a Vice President and Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab. Previously, he was President/CEO at Nichols Research (acquired in 2016) and held preceding positions as Vice President and Business Development Officer at U.S. Trust Company and as Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise Financial). Mr. Nichols is deeply committed to his clients’ success and his work has led to recognition as a 2021, 2022, and 2023 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor.
  • Community Involvement
    Active in philanthropy, Mr. Nichols founded the Silicon Valley Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk in partnership with the Lustgarten Foundation, which raises awareness and funding to advance the scientific and medical research related to the diagnosis, treatment, and cure of pancreatic cancer. To date, the annual event has raised over $225,000.
  • Education
    Mr. Nichols earned his Bachelor of Science from San Jose State University and certificate in financial planning from University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Mr. Nichols completed advanced training in wealth strategies and behavioral finance from Cannon Financial Institute. He is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute and an affiliate member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC).
