Adam Beard

Adam Beard is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management. Mr. Beard joined First Republic in 2018. Prior to joining First Republic, Mr. Beard was a Senior Vice President within the Private Wealth Group at Jefferies. His extensive experience includes wealth management, investment banking and capital markets experience, providing customized strategies and tailored services designed to meet the unique needs of affluent clients and their families. He has particular expertise in pre- and post-liquidity planning, single stock risk management and diversification, trust, tax and estate planning and asset allocation/manager selection that reflect clients' short-and long-term priorities. His mandate is to offer a comprehensive and service-centric experience with the goal of developing lasting relationships with his clients. Previous to Jefferies' Private Wealth Group, Mr. Beard was a Senior Vice President within Jefferies' Technology Investment Banking Group based in San Francisco. He began his career with Prudential Securities in New York.

Active in the local community, Mr. Beard currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee for BUILD Boston, a nonprofit organization that uses entrepreneurship to ignite the potential of youth from under-resourced communities and equip them for high school, college and career success.

Mr. Beard earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Trinity College.
