Erik Ralston is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager on the Maidman/Chase/Ralston team at First Republic Investment Management. The team joined First Republic Investment Management in 2015 from Credit Suisse Private Banking.
He advises ultra high net worth families on pre- and post-liquidity planning, wealth transfer strategies and cash flow modelling. Mr. Ralston and his expanded team has an informed understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges inherent in managing significant wealth. Consistent with First Republic’s service-centric experience, he works with clients to identify goals and implement tax-aware strategies to reach those goals.
Prior to advising individuals and families at Credit Suisse and before that Deutsche Bank, Mr. Ralston advised institutional clients on global risk and asset allocation while at the New York office of the Washington based G7 Group. Mr. Ralston started his career at Toyo Tanso, a semiconductor materials company in Osaka, Japan. After five years in Japan and becoming fluent in Japanese, he was transferred to Milan, Italy to develop the firm’s European market.
Education
Mr. Ralston earned his MBA in Finance and Economics from New York University and Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCSB.
