Evan Weiss

Evan Weiss is a Managing Director of Estate and Business Planning at First Republic Securities Company. Mr. Weiss works closely with individuals and families to design and implement coordinated insurance strategies, including life, long-term disability and long-term care solutions. He is experienced in collaborating with clients’ teams of advisors, bringing together their trust and estate lawyer, accountant, investment manager and family office professional. Mr. Weiss’ clients come from all industries and markets, including but not limited to private equity, venture capital, biotech and pharmaceuticals, professional athletes, technology entrepreneurs, business owners and inherited wealth. Prior to joining First Republic in 2018, Mr. Weiss started his insurance career at Northwestern Mutual in 2005 in Boston. As a member of the Atlantic Benefit Group partnered with Brian McNally, he worked closely with high net worth and ultra high net worth families to develop insurance portfolios designed to maximize wealth transfer and minimize estate taxes. His experience in this market at an early stage in his career has afforded him the unique ability to advise and support multiple generations of affluent families.

Mr. Weiss earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Bucknell University, where he also participated on the varsity baseball team.
