About Hugh
Hugh Beecher is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Hugh works closely with founders of private companies, C-suite executives of public companies, and other accomplished individuals, managing their financial affairs with diligence and deft coordination. A capable team leader, Hugh connects clients to the resources that high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients require, sensitive to their distinctive interests and intentions. He offers the knowledge and experience he has gained from serving a preeminent clientele, helping them regain precious time for their personal and professional pursuits. Clients look to Hugh as a trusted confidante and reliable guide who can help them preserve and grow dynastic wealth.
Hugh points to the depth of his team as a differentiating factor for clients and their families. He notes that the team has steadily built out its roster of specialists, assembling a high-performing group of colleagues who are available on site to counsel the team's clients. "The depth of our talent supports clients more effectively," he explains, "providing greater ease and a single source for diverse needs." Hugh also observes that he and his colleagues offer a market perspective that has been shaped over multiple cycles. That seasoned vantage point, he relates, allows them to maintain composure during periods of market volatility.
With more than 30 years of wealth management experience, Hugh is closely attuned to the needs of successful families. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023, he spent more than eight years with First Republic Private Wealth Management, where he was a Senior Managing Director and Wealth Manager. Earlier in his career, Hugh worked at Barclays' Wealth Management in San Francisco. He also founded a Registered Investment Advisor, Beecher Investment Management. Hugh began his investment career at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Vice President, serving for more than four years.
Hugh earned his B.A. in Economics and his M.B.A. in Finance from Brigham Young University.
Hugh and his wife Lesley have two children. Their family circle is rounded out by their much-loved dog, Violet.
