James Gersack

James (Jim) Gersack is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management. Prior to joining First Republic in 2019, Mr. Gersack was President of First Western Trust. Before his tenure with First Western Trust, Mr. Gersack was a Senior Vice President with First Interstate Wealth Management in Jackson Hole, WY. Mr. Gersack began his career in 1997 at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. in San Francisco.

Mr. Gersack is active in his local community including being trustee of several organizations. Such organizations include National Museum of Wildlife Art, Teton County Library Foundation and Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church. He is also a hockey coach for Jackson Hole Youth Hockey.

Mr. Gersack is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Mr. Gersack earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from Montana State University.
