Jeff Schottenstein is a Senior Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Mr. Schottenstein has served as a financial advisor for the past two decades, working closely with families and institutional investors to advance their wealth management goals. He joined First Republic in 2018 after spending 15 years as a Managing Director of Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group. He began his career in 1995 with Montgomery Securities in San Francisco, and later became a Principal with Thomas Weisel Partners.
As a Senior Managing Director and Wealth Manager, Mr. Schottenstein focuses on developing tailored asset allocations and implementations that reflect his clients' priorities and risk tolerance. He is experienced with hedging and diversification strategies for concentrated and restricted equity positions, in addition to multigenerational trust and estate strategies.
Community Involvement
Dedicated to the fight against gastric cancer, he received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor as a result of his work as a passionate advocate for cancer research and cancer patients. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Gastric Cancer Foundation, the Dana Farber Presidential Visiting Committee for Gastrointestinal Oncology and the Stanford Cancer Council.
Education
Mr. Schottenstein earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
