Mark Kordes

Mark Kordes is a Managing Director and Advanced Planner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Mr. Kordes joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, First Republic now part of JPMorgan Chase, in 2023. Prior to joining First Republic in 2022, he worked for Advisors Capital Management, HSBC in Hong Kong, UBS and Merrill Lynch in the U.S., in both client-facing and corporate management roles. Mr. Kordes currently serves on the Academic Advisory Panel of the Financial Planning Standards Board (International CFP®) and has recently served on their Professional Standards Committee (2016–2022). He has also served on the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standard's (United States CFP®) as a past Chair of their Council on Education. In addition, he currently serves on the Wealth Management Cooperation Committee of the Asian Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA). Mr. Kordes and his family live in Delray Beach, Florida.

Mr. Kordes is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP), the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Palm Beach County Estate Planning Council, the Greater Palm Beach Estate Planning Council and the Palm Beach Tax Institute.

Mr. Kordes has earned a master’s in financial services (MSFS) from The American College of Financial Services. He earned his Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) certification as well the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®), Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designations.

Mr. Kordes has earned a master’s in financial services (MSFS) from The American College of Financial Services.
