- Wealth Management Experience Since 1991Mary W. Hayes is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management. Ms. Hayes joined First Republic in 2011. Prior to First Republic, Ms. Hayes was at US Trust where she spent 11 years as a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, Ms. Hayes was responsible for the design and implementation of customized investment portfolios for high net worth individuals, trusts and non-profit organizations, as well as research and monitoring efforts for the firm’s Open Architecture Review Committee. Prior to US Trust, Ms. Hayes was a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Scudder Zurich Private Investment Counsel. She began her investment career at The Bank of New York, culminating as a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager of Personal Asset Management.
