McLane Cover is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Mr. Cover joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Mr. Cover was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic since 2018. Prior to joining First Republic in 2018, Mr. Cover was a Private Wealth Manager at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Cover has over thirty years of professional investment experience having served as a Managing Director at Citigroup Global Markets and Kidder Peabody and Co. He was the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Mistral Capital Partners and also served as a consultant to Kohlberg, Kravis and Roberts (KKR). In addition, Mr. Cover has extensive equity research and portfolio management experience which has included investments in public equity and debt securities, startups, venture capital and private equity. He is co‐Chair of the Investment Committee and Head of Private Equity Research for the Atwood Group and also is a member of First Republic's Asset Allocation and Alternatives Investment Committees. Using a thoughtful and disciplined approach, Mr. Cover creates bespoke investment recommendations structured to reflect each client's specific goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences. These custom-tailored strategies consider all relevant asset classes and investment opportunities with a goal of helping clients navigate diverse economic and market environments.

Active in his local community, Mr. Cover previously served as Treasurer and Chair of the Investment Committee for Beacon Academy in Boston. He also volunteers with the Babson Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program.

Mr. Cover earned his B.S. in Finance and Investments from Babson College.
