Michael Brodnik

Michael Brodnik is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager with First Republic Investment Management. Before joining First Republic in 2022, Mr. Brodnik was a Senior Vice President and Private Wealth Manager at Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Brodnik worked at Barclay’s Wealth and Investment Management and Bernstein Global Wealth Management, where he led wealth management teams. He applies the knowledge and insight he has gained from extensive experience addressing the needs of a highly accomplished clientele, offering practical guidance to navigate complex decisions. Mr. Brodnik has particular depth developing capital market strategies for families, assessing and tracking risk, providing long-term cash flow analyses, and facilitating access to complex credit and lending.

Active in his local community, Mr. Brodnik leads the Kelly Renee Brodnik Foundation, which focuses on issues related to pediatric osteosarcoma and other childhood cancers.

Mr. Brodnik earned his bachelor of arts degree in political science at the University of Richmond and his MBA, with a concentration in finance, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
