Michael Kramer

Michael Kramer is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager with First Republic Investment Management. Prior to joining First Republic in 2020, Mr. Kramer was a Principal at B. Riley Wealth Advisors, which he joined in 2015 from Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Mr. Kramer is dedicated to serving the needs of high net worth clients through both traditional and complex investment strategies, which he tailors to individual client needs. Before starting his career in wealth management, Mr. Kramer was a practicing cardiologist who served on the faculty of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Mr. Kramer is active in his local community, with emphasis on accessible health care and environmental causes. He is a supporter of various initiatives at the Penn Center for Community Health Workers and leads the Sag Harbor Cycle Group, which promotes fitness and safety for cyclists in the local community.

Mr. Kramer earned his bachelor's degree in Biology from Rutgers University and his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
