About René

René Henriksen is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

René works closely with business owners, corporate executives, and other accomplished individuals, helping them design a more direct path to their goals and aspirations. With more than 25 years of experience, he offers the knowledge and perspective to help clients enact a more efficient approach to their financial lives.

Clients look to René as a collaborator and guide who appreciates what they have accomplished and what lies ahead. An attentive listener, René looks to support clients' evolution as informed stewards of their wealth, providing them with sustained leadership. He is proud of the quality and depth of his client relationships, many of which span decades. René notes that the most satisfying aspect of his role is the ability to help people—whether preparing for a liquidity event, diversifying a concentrated position, transferring wealth to the next generation, or smoothing family-wealth dynamics.

Prior to his current role, René spent seven years with First Republic Private Wealth Management, where he was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager. His career also includes tenures with UBS, where he was a Senior Vice President in Wealth Management, as well as Deutsche Bank and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. René has worked in wealth management since 1996. Earlier, he served as a U.S. Naval Officer in San Diego after completing his NROTC training at the University of Pennsylvania.

René earned his M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and his B.S. in Engineering from Drexel University.

Active in his community, René served for many years on the Board of United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County and has coached several youth athletic teams.

René has two adult sons. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, watching college football, and spending time on the water.
