Richard Scarpelli

Richard Scarpelli is Managing Director and Head of Financial Planning at First Republic Private Wealth Management. Mr. Scarpelli joined First Republic in 2017. Prior to joining First Republic, Mr. Scarpelli was Head of Financial Planning at UBS. He was also previously Co-Head of Advanced Planning and a Senior Wealth Strategist. Prior to UBS, he was a Tax Senior at Arthur Andersen in the Private Client Services group providing individual, partnership and gift tax advice to high net worth clients. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.

Mr. Scarpelli is a Chartered Financial Consultant®.

Mr. Scarpelli earned his Masters of Science in Taxation and his MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Fordham University School of Business.
