Robert Weiss

Robert Weiss is a Senior Vice President and Regional Business Leader for First Republic Investment Management. Mr. Weiss oversees First Republic’s Wealth Managers in the tristate region, including New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, and is responsible for sales strategy, recruiting and collaboration across all areas of the Bank. Prior to joining First Republic in 2021, Mr. Weiss spent nearly 29 years in the wealth management industry in various leadership roles: Global Head of J.P. Morgan’s Advice Lab, Head of J.P. Morgan’s Private Wealth Management HNW business and Market Leadership Chairperson for the state of New Jersey; Managing Director of Bernstein’s Wealth Management Group and Northeast Division Executive at SunTrust (now Truist).

Mr. Weiss is an active member in his community and has worked Rising Tide Capital, transforming lives and communities through entrepreneurship.

Mr. Weiss earned a CFA® charter from AIMR (now the CFA Institute) in 2000.

Mr. Weiss earned his master’s degree in Finance from the University of Buffalo in 1997.
