About Ryan

Ryan Leaverton is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a partner within The Leaverton Strahan Team, Ryan works closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, foundations and businesses, developing investment and planning strategies to guide them toward their financial goals. He invests significant time in each relationship so that he can gain a clear understanding of each client's situation—both near-term priorities and long-term aspirations. This familiarity allows Ryan and his team to support clients in pursuing meaningful milestones in their lives and legacies. He is gratified to walk with clients through key inflection points in their wealth, helping them expedite a path to the future they envision.

Closely attuned to the capital markets, Ryan draws on more than eleven years of investment experience. His approach is tailored to each family, business, or nonprofit organization, reflecting their risk tolerance, time horizon, cash-flow needs, tax situation, and wealth transfer intentions, as appropriate. He offers a refined level of strategy, identifying possible gaps and potential opportunities that can help clients advance their objectives with greater foresight.

Ryan notes that his team's continuity is one of its greatest assets. He and his colleagues are proud to enjoy relationships that span three generations of client families, supporting people at varied stages in their lives. Clients look to Ryan and his team for meaningful guidance at key junctures: selling a business, retiring or changing jobs, real estate purchases or investments, saving for higher education, or any other catalyst. To each of these needs, Ryan and his team offer practical wisdom and technical insight, allowing clients to regain time for the people and activities they value.

Prior to moving to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, Ryan was a Vice President and Wealth Manager with First Republic Investment Management, where he worked for six years.
