About Sanah

Sanah Chung is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

As a co-founder of The Barnes Chung Lally Group, Sanah builds enduring relationships with multiple generations of client families, helping them deploy, preserve and transfer their wealth more effectively. Attuned to the needs of an accomplished clientele, Sanah has spent more than three decades developing tailored advice for financially successful individuals and families, supporting their aspirations and charting a more efficient path to their priorities.

Clients from varied paths seek Sanah's assistance. Many are wealth creators, including entrepreneurs, senior executives, entertainment-industry leaders, and surgeons and specialists in the medical community. To each relationship, Sanah offers the wisdom and judgment he has refined over multiple market cycles and economic themes: "We help people understand the value of long-term investing," he explains, "developing a singular game plan and strategy for each client."

Sanah notes that the team's investment offerings are complemented by a suite of services designed to support wealthy families: multigenerational planning, trust and estate services, tax-sensitive wealth transfer, and family wealth dynamics and governance. These offerings, Sanah relates, help clients gain confidence and peace of mind about the trajectory of their wealth, a composure that is cemented by the team's high-touch service model.

Prior to moving to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management with his team in 2023, Sanah spent four years with First Republic Private Wealth Management, where he was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President at UBS Financial Services, where he served for more than ten years. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1989, after earning his B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Southwest Baptist University, where he was a scholarship athlete on the Tennis Team.

Active in his local community, Sanah is a board member of The Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades. He also serves on the board of Southwest Baptist University Athletics Hall of Fame and is a regular guest lecturer for USC Marshall School of Business.

A resident of Santa Monica, Sanah is an avid tennis player and golfer. He loves spending time with his son, Toby, and daughter, Nadia. In 2022, Nadia was crowned Queen of the Tournament of Roses for the Rose Parade in Pasadena, making her dad understandably proud. Raised in a family of classical musicians, Sanah also enjoys playing the cello.
