Sommer McKinley

Sommer McKinley is a Vice President and Director of Investments at First Republic Trust Company. Prior to joining First Republic Trust Company, Ms. McKinley worked as a Client Service Associate and then progressed to an Associate Portfolio Manager with First Republic Investment Management providing client support, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and financial planning advice. In her current role, she is responsible for coordinating with investment managers and overseeing the implementation and performance of fiduciary investment portfolios to ensure trust investment objectives are met. She has been providing investment management and oversight for high net worth individuals and non-profit organizations since 2006.

Ms. McKinley is a pro-bono committee member of the Financial Planning Association of San Francisco and committee member for San Francisco Financial Planning Day.

She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.

Ms. McKinley earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami. She received her Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California at Berkeley.
