James P. Fletcher

James P. Fletcher is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Mr. Fletcher joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, First Republic now part of JPMorgan Chase, in July 2023. Before joining J.P. Morgan he was a Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management, which he joined in 2010. Prior to joining First Republic, Mr. Fletcher served as First Vice President and Senior Director of Portfolio Management at BNY Mellon. Prior to BNY Mellon he was President of Fletcher Capital Advisors, a registered investment advisor, managing assets for endowments, charities, nonprofits and high net worth individuals. He believes that planning, whether it be estate or financial, is critical for clients to achieve their long term goals.

Active in the community, Mr. Fletcher serves as Trustee of the Laguna Beach Community Foundation and served as Chair of its investment committee. He is a former Chair of the Laguna Beach Educational Foundation investment committee.

He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the Los Angeles and Orange County CFA societies.

Mr. Fletcher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
