Paul Emata is a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Mr. Emata has over 25 years of wealth management experience, with a focus on managing portfolios for high net worth individuals, families and nonprofit entities. Prior to joining First Republic in 2014, he was the Chief Investment Officer and Director of Investments at PNC Bank Delaware. Mr. Emata’s previous experience includes over 15 years with Hornblower Fischer AG in Munich, Germany in roles of increasing seniority including Managing Partner, Investment Strategist and Portfolio Manager at the firm.
Active in the financial community, Mr. Emata participates in the CFA Institute continuing education program, the Certified Financial Planning continuing education program, and the Global Association of Risk Professionals continuing education program. He is a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia where he serves as a Director and Past President, a Member of the Market Technicians Association, a Member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and a former Member of the German Association of Investment Professionals (now CFA Society Germany).
